Get involved with our Advocacy Council

Community voices play an important role in shaping policies that address food insecurity and reduce food waste. Our advocacy efforts depend on collaboration with community members, partner organizations, and local leaders. There are many ways to get involved and help strengthen food access in our communities.

Join the Advocacy Council

The Advocacy Council brings together volunteers, community members, advocates, and partner organizations who want to advance solutions to food insecurity and food waste. The council provides a space to share information, discuss policy priorities, and coordinate advocacy efforts that support a more equitable food system.

Participants help

  • Identify community priorities related to food access
  • Stay informed about food policy and advocacy opportunities
