Give Through Your Donor Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving fund administered by a third party such as a community foundation or financial institution. DAFs allow you to make a charitable contribution of cash, securities, or other assets and receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend donations from your DAF account to the nonprofits you wish to support.
You can use your DAF to make a one-time or a recurring gift.
How to recommend a DAF Gift to Food Finders:
Contact your DAF sponsor to request a grant distribution to Food Finders, Inc.

Give From Your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free distribution from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to Food Finders. This is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) and it’s an incredible way to partner with us to reduce hunger and food waste.
How it works:
Contact your plan administrator to direct distributions in the amount of your choosing from your IRA to Food Finders, Inc. (EIN 33-0412749).

Benefits of donating stock
Avoid capital gains tax – Gifting stock can help you avoid paying federal capital gains tax, and most donors can also claim an income tax deduction for the stock’s full market value.
Make a bigger impact – When you give appreciated stock directly to Food Finders, your gift can be up to 20% larger because you avoid the taxes you would incur from selling and donating the cash. This means more money will support our neighbors in need.
