Rescuing Food, Reducing Hunger
Every day, Food Finders saves thousands of pounds of food from the waste bin.
For 37 years, Food Finders has been at the forefront of the food recovery industry. Partnering with food donors to rescue edible food, reducing the environmental impact of food waste, and ensuring food is used for intended purpose: feeding people. We believe access to food is a fundamental right and that hunger is a matter of logistics, not scarcity.

Food Rescue
Our year-round Food Rescue program connects donors with surplus food to our network of agencies, providing meals and pantry distributions to low-income and food-insecure individuals and households
Food 4 Kids
Our Food 4 Kids program supports 47 schools in the Long Beach Unified School District, providing over 1,700 weekend meal boxes monthly to families facing food insecurity
Food HUB
Our Food HUB at Admiral Kidd Park in Long Beach offers weekly perishable food access to agency partners. The Community Marketplace, held on the 4th Saturday each month, is our only direct distribution event for local residents
Backyard Harvest
Backyard Harvest is a food rescue program that aids in gleaning fresh and surplus produce from local communities to eliminate food insecurity and food waste.
